About SCORE Bored

SCORE Bored is my blog about film score and a place where people can discuss, comment on and critique the music or anything else to do with genre.  I'll be reviewing albums/soundtracks, both new and old, discussing trends and contributing to the musical conversation.  It is my hope that others who also appreciate film score will come together to contribute and that we will inspire new listeners to get into the "art of appreciating" the music that accompanies the images we see on screen.

I am simply an appreciator.  I have no training in music theory, some exposure to classical music and opera, and have not worked in the music industry to any capacity.  But at the same time, I felt compelled to bring discussion of this musical genre to the forefront because I think it is under-appreciated.
