SCORE Bored is a blog about film score and a place where people can discuss, comment on and critique the music or anything else to do with genre. I'll be reviewing albums/soundtracks, both new and old, discussing trends and contributing to the musical conversation. It is my hope that others who also appreciate film score will come together to contribute and that we will inspire new listeners to get into the "art of appreciating" the music that accompanies the images we see on the movie screen.

To Boldly Go

Been watching a lot of the old Star Trek movies and enjoyed Into Darkness so I had to reflect on the music. Jerry Goldsmith and James Horner were major players in the film franchises' score. This article explains it well. Not bad for an encyclopedia. Check it out!
